The first time I ever saw "The Sound of Music" was when I was 8 years old. This movie had a huge impact on my life. It was the first movie I ever fell in love with, and I'd have to say it's been my favorite movie ever. I never felt like I had a "fun mother," and this movie taught me what I wanted my family life to be like. Maria and the Captain fell in love and first admitted their feelings to each other one evening after he called off his marriage to the Baroness. I thought that was the most romantic scene I'd ever seen. I love every aspect of this movie - the romance, the suspense, the humor, the mystery, and the wonderful ending.
